Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 70, 1970) is a well-known American actor. Melina Kanakaredes is best known as the Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama Providence. Her leading role in the role of Eleni andros Cooper on the CBS soap series Guiding Light was also praised. Some of her notable films include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film by Vlas Parlapanides (the team who invented the Immortals) is believed to be in the works. Additionally, she's making a film for an upcoming series called Gods & Heroes.
