Suzy Kolber (born Suzanne Lisa Kolber) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 14, 1964. Her parents are Jewish. Suzy is now 58. Sandra Kolber's mother is known by her name as Gene Kolber. Her graduation was in 1982 at Upper Dublin High School and Sandy Run Middle School. In 1986 she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on telecommunications from University of Miami. When she was a freshman in college when she was hired with Dynamic Cable as their Sports Director. Additionally, she worked for Dynamic Cable for two years, from 1984 till 1986. There she took classes in improv as well as film making at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Her aphasia diagnosis was discovered at age 20. It is a temporary defect that affects the ability to express and understand spoken language.
