The childhood of Pickler was not a smooth one. When she was two she left her mother's abusive relationship. Then she returned to Pickler's world in 1995 when she took custody of her. This did not go as planned. So when she was 12 the court returned Pickler to her grandparents - whom she grew up with. Pickler with the help of her parents as well as her elder siblings, became busy to have a family. She said that because she didn't have time for studying, she began to master cooking and wash at a young stage. Pickler was the cheerleader at middle school and her high school.
