Born Kellie Dawn Pickler on June 28 1986 Pickler had a troublesome childhood. When she was two the mother of her fled from an abusive relationship. Her mother returned in 1995 back to her home and was given full custody. It was, however, not the best experience. Pickler aged 12 was returned to her parents through the justices. They took care of her until she reached adulthood. In the absence of the parents of her, Pickler got too involved in caring for her siblings. The mother of three confessed to her that in absence of parents, Pickler was too busy to go to school. She instead began in the process of learning to take care of her family at an earlier stage. Pickler was part of her high school's and middle school's cheerleading squad. North Stanly High School was the school where she graduated in the year 2004. Pickler is also an accomplished beauty queen. The name she was given was Miss Stanly County.
