Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie has been the first female to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. In 2010, she placed 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is a famous Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media aficionado. She was the first female winner at an award at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. Also, she was credited with having won the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 as well as the 2017 Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. As a child Annie was a huge sports fan and enjoyed working out. Many medals were awarded to her at school events. She first took part in 2009 in the CrossFit Games in California where she performed relatively excellently in the first round. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. She stands at 5'7" and she weighs approximately 77.5kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. She performed well in initial events and finished in top 10 of the 70. She was not able to earn any awards, which was why she ended 11th on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished with a second place finish and earned the silver medal same year. Later in the year, she participated again in CrossFit Games and due to her impressive performance, she took home the competition and became the first female winner of CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie was again the winner of the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman athlete who had two wins at CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she received a gold medal. And in 2021, she was awarded with a bronze. At present, Annie coaches and trains with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her.
