Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day, is a American R&B/Soul musician and singer. In addition to receiving a Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award she's also up for nomination as the winner of an Academy Award. Andra isn't simply a throwback R&B singer, her gospel blues and jazz roots is presented in a manner that's effortless and elegant. Her debut album, Cheers to The Fall (2015) she broke into the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts as well as securing a few Grammy nominations. In 2017, her work on Marshall's score was acknowledged by the Academy Award. Amen (2019), Make Your Troubles Gone Away (2021) and an Golden Globe award-winning portrayal as Billie Holiday for The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2017) has helped to build anticipation. Andra Day was born Cassandra Monique Batie and grew in Edmonds Washington. While in San Diego, she attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts and sang at the church. As she graduated from the School of Creative and Performing Arts, andra Day began to focus on contemporary R&B and Pop, however she quickly realized that her roots in soulful jazz were what she was attracted to. Kai Millard Morris recorded a show of Day, and later gave her husband Stevie Wonder some of Day's material. The Motown legend in turn connected Day with industry veteran Adrian Gurvitz. In partnership together with Gurvitz along with Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day developed a popularity on YouTube and later signed to major label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day dropped her first single Forever Mine on YouTube. This song was immediately taken up and played in radio stations by a variety of DJs. Following her joining Warner Bros. Records, she began to work with producer Adrian Gurvitz on the album she released as her first "Cheers to the Fall" (2015). The single "Rise Up" was a hit worldwide for social justice campaigns. Day was nominated for two Grammy Awards including Best R&B Album. The United States against Billie Holiday is a recording concept on the legendary jazz vocalist. It came out by Day in the year 2019. In the following year she was a part as a character in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2020), a biopic of Holiday's career. Andi Matichak is an American actress. She first appeared in television series like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her movie debut with Allyson Nelson in the film horror series Halloween and the sequels. Andi matichak is an American actress who was born 03 May 1994 Framingham in Massachusetts.
